  • Email Subscriptions – Retained until you unsubscribe
  • WordPress User Accounts – Retained as long as your account is active
  • Blog Comments – Retained in WordPress comment database
  • Website Logs – Typically retained for 30-90 days
  • Google Analytics Data – Retained per Google Analytics settings (typically 26 months)
  • Email Marketing Lists – Retained per platform settings unless you unsubscribe

You can request deletion of your data by contacting us at any time.

 

11. CAN-SPAM ACT COMPLIANCE

The CAN-SPAM Act is a law that sets rules for commercial email, establishes requirements for commercial messages, and gives recipients the right to have emails stopped. We comply with CAN-SPAM by:

If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information through our WordPress forms, email subscriptions, or any other means, we will:

  • Immediately delete that child’s information from our database
  • Delete the information from ActiveCampaign and Optin lists
  • Remove any associated contact records
  • Notify the parent or guardian of the collection (if contact info is available)

Parental Rights:

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information to us, contact us immediately at info@soljoy.life. We will investigate and remove the child’s information within 10 business days.

 

13. CALIFORNIA ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT (CalOPPA)

CalOPPA is the first state law requiring commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy and comply with specific privacy requirements. The law applies to any person or company operating a website collecting personal information from California consumers.

14. DO NOT TRACK (DNT) SIGNALS

Our WordPress site uses Google Analytics and form tracking through Contact Form 7, ActiveCampaign, and Optin.

We do not honor Do Not Track (DNT) signals because:
