1. INTRODUCTION & ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the SolJoy website (www.soljoy.life) and all related services, programs, and products offered by SolJoy with Anna Choi SPC (“SolJoy,” “we,” “us,” “our,” or “Company”).
By accessing, using, or registering for any SolJoy service, program, class, retreat, 1:1 coaching, or any content on this website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, you must immediately cease using this website and our services.
2. ELIGIBILITY & AGE REQUIREMENTS
By using this website and our services, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You have the legal capacity and authority to enter into these Terms and Conditions
- You are not prohibited by law from accessing or using our services
- All information you provide is accurate, current, and complete
If you are under 18, you may only use this website and our services with the express written consent and supervision of your parent or legal guardian.
3. LIABILITY WAIVER & ASSUMPTION OF RISK
ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISK:
To the best of my knowledge, I am in good physical condition and able to fully participate in any SolJoy related training, class, program, retreat, or 1:1 coaching. I am fully aware of the risks and hazards connected with participation in Qigong, Tai Chi, Yoga, or any other physical program, including but not limited to physical injury, heart attack, stroke, or even death.
VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION:
I hereby voluntarily elect to participate in said events, knowing that the associated physical activities may be hazardous to me and my property. I VOLUNTARILY ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY RISKS OR LOSS, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR PERSONAL INJURY, INCLUDING DEATH, that may be sustained by me, or loss or damage to property owned by me, as a result of participation in these courses, classes, programs, or events.
RELEASE AND WAIVER:
I hereby RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE, SolJoy, Anna Choi, their officers, servants, agents, employees, and partners (including but not limited to Kitsap Martial Arts, Island Fitness, and other affiliated organizations) and their staff (“RELEASEES”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury including death, that may be sustained by me, or to any property belonging to me, while participating in physical activity or while on the premises where events are being conducted.
This release and hold harmless agreement shall bind the members of my family and spouse (if alive), and my heirs, assigns, and personal representatives (if deceased), and shall be deemed a RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE the above named RELEASEES.
This Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Washington.
By using this website or participating in any SolJoy service, you ACKNOWLEDGE AND REPRESENT THAT YOU HAVE READ THIS WAIVER, UNDERSTAND IT, AND SIGN IT VOLUNTARILY as your own free act and deed.
4. PHOTO AND VIDEO RELEASE WAIVER
GRANT OF RIGHTS:
By participating in SolJoy programs, events, or using our website, you hereby grant SolJoy with Anna Choi SPC unconditional permission to use your likeness in photographs, video recordings, or other digital media (“Media”) in any and all publications, including web-based publications, marketing materials, social media, and promotional content, without payment or other consideration.
OWNERSHIP:
You understand and agree that all Media will become the exclusive property of SolJoy with Anna Choi SPC and will not be returned to you.
AUTHORIZATION:
You irrevocably authorize SolJoy with Anna Choi SPC to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute Media for any lawful purpose. You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product in which your likeness appears, and you waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from the use of the Media.
RELEASE:
You hereby hold harmless, release, and forever discharge SolJoy with Anna Choi SPC from all claims, demands, and causes of action related to this authorization.
By clicking acceptance of these Terms and Conditions or by participation in SolJoy programs, you AFFIRM THAT YOU ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE, OR, IF YOU ARE UNDER 18, YOU HAVE OBTAINED THE REQUIRED CONSENT OF YOUR PARENTS/GUARDIANS.
5. COACHING & PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT DISCLAIMERS
NOT MEDICAL OR THERAPEUTIC ADVICE:
SolJoy provides personal development, somatic mindfulness, and wellness coaching. Our services are NOT medical treatment, psychotherapy, or mental health counseling. The coaching, programs, and advice provided by SolJoy do not constitute medical, psychological, or professional mental health services.
If you require medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment, please consult with a licensed healthcare provider, therapist, or physician.
NO PROFESSIONAL LICENSE:
Anna Choi and SolJoy coaches are not licensed medical doctors, therapists, psychologists, or psychiatrists. Our coaching is based on personal development and wellness principles, not professional medical or therapeutic practice.
PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY:
You acknowledge that:
- You are solely responsible for your health and wellbeing
- Coaching results vary and are not guaranteed
- You assume all risk related to participation in coaching services
- You will seek professional medical advice for health concerns
INDIVIDUAL RESULTS VARY:
Results from coaching services depend on many factors, including your personal effort, commitment, mindset, and life circumstances. SolJoy does not guarantee specific outcomes or results.
6. WEBSITE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

9. PAYMENT TERMS & REFUND POLICY
PAYMENT PROCESSING:
We accept payments through Stripe, a secure third-party payment processor. By making a purchase, you authorize us to charge your payment method. We do not store credit card information on our servers.
PAYMENT TERMS:
- Payments are due at the time of purchase or as specified in the program agreement
- We accept payment through Stripe (credit cards, debit cards, etc.)
- All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated
- All fees and charges are non-refundable unless otherwise specified
REFUND POLICY:
SolJoy offers refunds on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. Refund eligibility depends on:
- The nature of the service or program purchased
- Your participation status and program completion
- Any other circumstances SolJoy deems relevant

PRICE CHANGES:
SolJoy reserves the right to change prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders already placed.
BILLING DISPUTES:

10. COACHING SERVICES, CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING
SERVICE DESCRIPTION:
SolJoy provides personal development coaching, including 1:1 coaching sessions, group programs, challenges, and workshops. Our services are designed to support personal growth and wellness.
CANCELLATION OF COACHING SESSIONS:
Clients may cancel coaching sessions at any time. To cancel, contact us at info@soljoy.life or through your account.
CANCELLATION NOTICE:
We request reasonable advance notice for cancellations (typically at least 24 hours before scheduled sessions). Cancellations with late notice may result in loss of the session.
RESCHEDULING SESSIONS:
Clients may reschedule coaching sessions based on availability. To reschedule, contact us at info@soljoy.life with your preferred date and time. Rescheduling is subject to coach availability.
RESCHEDULING NOTICE:
We request reasonable advance notice for rescheduling requests (typically at least 24 hours). Last-minute rescheduling may not be possible due to scheduling constraints.
PROGRAM CANCELLATION:
Clients may cancel ongoing coaching programs. Terms of cancellation will depend on the specific program agreement.
NO-SHOW POLICY:
If you fail to appear for a scheduled session without cancellation or rescheduling notification, you may forfeit that session.
PROGRAM MODIFICATIONS:
SolJoy reserves the right to modify program content, schedules, or delivery methods. We will provide advance notice of significant changes where possible.
11. NO WARRANTIES & DISCLAIMERS
AS-IS SERVICE:
This website and all services are provided “AS IS” without any representations or warranties, express or implied. SolJoy makes no representations or warranties regarding:
